Trip Report May 15 thru May 21 2000
by Walter & Cheryl

We arrived and it would seem that we already had a reputation. Several staff members met us at the bus. We were told that many of our gang The Wild Bunch had already arrived and had already made a true known presence. We were wisked into the back office and greated by the General Manager (Mr Levee) and several others. Then we were told our 24+couple group would be assigned a staff member for the week. It was Michelle Davis. Michelle told us she would be with us for the whole week and anything we needed to just tell her. She was true to her word! She took us to eat as our plane was delayed and the buffet was closed and we were starved. We ate at the Scotch Bonnet restaurant. We were then given a tour of the property and introduced to many other Wild Bunch members we had yet to meet. Dont know when she ever slept. Michelle was there near us all week long and she didnt even live on the property!

Check in:
You will find the front desk folks at Hedo III to be better accessable than at Hedo II. If you need something at Hedo III the front desk can really find you some help! If they cant help they will find someone that can!

The Rooms:
Michelle then told us she had upgraded every member of our gang to the all natural building 600 so we could all be together. Totally Awesome! Building 600 is the place. We filled it and a few ended up in 700 which was really nice too for those.

The rooms are exquisite. REAL furniture, not the kind that requires fastening to the wall for support. Mirrors on the ceiling in the bedroom area and the bathroom both. The jacuzzi tub was great too. Our room was on the ground floor right in front of the Nude pool, just steps away. You couldnt ask for a better room. The layout of these rooms is perfect. On the ground level we had fron and rear doors. Of which we never locked or even closed the poolside door as all our bunch were runing in a lot and many that had farther away rooms left their things in out room. The tile work in these rooms are fantastic. Some of the most beautiful you will ever see. I had heard that the light switch for the bathrooms was in the wrong place. But If you think about it you want to turn it on BEFORE you go into the bathroom so it is on the outside. Good carpentry skills probably dont come easy in Jamaica so I can understand why they put it in a place not requiring tile cutting. We especially enjoyed the TV. Playboy channel and even 2 channels that were 1 for a constant view of the buffet restaurant panning the main pool, bar, and Main stage, and the other panning the disco at all times. Was great for finding out what was going on all the time. Even had a VCR Built in but we didnt bring anything to watch. Probably wouldnt have had time. But Im sure some might like to remember this. The CD players were a great touch too bring your own music!

The Hot tubs:
We found that the hottub at the nude pool smaller than II but more than adequate. When we were at Hedo II we found that at night it was mostly empty. But at Hedo III it was full most all night long. We found couples there till daylight. About the only time it was ever totally empty was during the big nightly events, which I will tell you more about later. The clear bottom hottub didnt seem to get much use. and when it did was only for a few minutes or so. The hottub at the main pool never had anyone in it that we ever saw. It would seem that the hot was too hot much of the time but 1 complaint to the bartender and it was adjusted in minutes. Even at 4 am.

Water Slide:
Open 10 am to 5pm then 10pm to 5 am. We hit is most days screaming and hollering at high noon. NAKED! Drew lots of attention and many photographers. They told us not to do this but we did it anyway! . This slide goes so darned fast you hardly know you went in. But you get a heck of a rush. This is a must do!

Sex:
We all have sightings of sex about, and were even guilty ourselves. It would seem the sex police were there but ignores these events. We saw it on the nude beach pier almost daily. Under the waterfall at night. And on the fountain table in the nude pool many times. In the loungers very often. Across the ropes on the pier was popular by one couple. Of course the Nude Hottub always had it happening.

The Beach:
Both the nude beach and the prude beach are man made so dont expect much. But it is super nice and well done. Hedo III is built, I suppose on Rocks and the water is really rough compared to H II. But personally I liked that.

Body shots:
Right on top of the bar at the nude pool almost everynight. A Body shot is where one gets doused with Liquor and gets it licked off by another. The bartenders were always helpful in getting this going. Fun to watch but more fun to participate in. We even say this happen a few times at the main bar!

Pools:
All had activity most of the time. All have a swim up bar. But most action was at the nude pool. Even smaller in size more fun was there. The main pool have only a few people in it at a time. But even along side you could find topless sunbathers and if you watch long enough you would always see someone loose their clothes there too. At the quad pool, nothing much ever happend. Mostly people just floating around. I recall at Hedo II several pool guys always around but their pools hinged on turning green most of the time. The pools at Hedo III are a crystal clear all the time, and you seldom ever saw maintenance.

Music:
The speakers are All over the grounds everywhere. Except the nude pool. We thought they sould be there too. Maybe even with a volume control at the nude bar if it needs to be turned off.

The Cruise:
The Cool Jaz was charted By Hedo III as their compliment to us. This was great. Michelle Davis accompanied us too. We had food and booze, went snorkeling Danced, played games and had a wild and crazy time! We could not have been more pleased!

Bars:
Well at least you can always get a drink. When we were at H II we couldnt get a drink after about 11pm. They did have beer and daquari machines around. But at HIII the Nude Bar was open till 5 am. And even then if you wanted something after that all we had to do was go to the front desk and they sent it all out to us. We had ladies asking for 5am champaigne.!!! The drinks also come much faster at Hedo III. Looks as if the bars are bigger and are better staffed. Always a place to sit too! We had no troube ever getting a drink at Hedo III. They even had waitresses bringing them to you along the pool. When the bartender had time he would even come out and wait on you! Watch for Andre too he puts on a good show while making a drink.

Disco:
We always had a good time, Music a bit loud for me though. But still fun. The solution would be to sit out on the disco balcony! I think its too small though. Maybe would be better if the diso was on the ground level rather than up stairs. The See thru water slide runs thru the disco but they go thru so fast you never see much more than a blur. Get on the disco balcony and you can see people going up to slide and and look over the rail and see them hit the water below.

Pj night:
Our gang was joined By Crazy Shawn, Michelle Davis and Haixara Owen among others. Their presence just made it that much more enjoyable. They were all dress in Jammy attire along with us. They danced a few with us before moveing on about their official business. All of our Gang were recoginized in one way or another as we kinda stood out being so crazy. Several of our gang again won prizes. Cant remember who all got what. I do remember my wife got 2nd place virgin. We all had a blast.

Masquarade night:
Our 24+ couple group decided on a group theme as jungle attire, and all I can say is grooowl. The gals looked fantastic. Heck even I won a bottle of booze this night , but again I forgot what I did. Some others of us were in there too for prizes. Again we shook the disco up.

Toga Night:
We again raided all the prizes. Our own Wolf took most of them. Seems he dressed in a consertive Toga and flashed everyone with a Crotch of Grapes Guess that did it for the judges. But only he could play it out like he did. Again members of our group took most of the prizes, individual, most Roman and couples togas. Of course you look around and our staff escorts had their eye on us all the time . But that didnt stop the fun.

Food & Restaurants:
Our group hit the itialian restaurant one night. It was great and really nice but I think we may have been a bit too flambouyant for this. I would recommend smaller groups for that nice evening at the italian dinner . Gotta admit, food was great. I do think Hedo II had great food, but superior is the best way to describe them both. Hedo II has a bigger buffet and may even have better service but Kirk MADE sure we had a table large enough for all of us. Hedo II has a bigger buffet room but could not have set us up all at one table this large. So all in all Ill give Kirk an A++. I remember the way Hedo 2's Buffet restaurant was laid out many times you could not even see the stage. Not so at Hedo III. If you like Jerk It is hotter and wangier at the Scotch Bonnet than it is anywhere at Hedo II. The nude snack bar was always there too for great food.

Entertainment:
On its way at Hedo III. I think it will all get better. We were well enter- tained all the time, But I do not believe the Entertainment staff was not as visible all the time as at II. This could be because we all made our own fun and those entertainers kept more to the other guests so I wont be critical. We did not get shorted! But Crazy Shawn always went down our table and greated every member of our gang every time he saw us. Many of the others were great too. Lacy and many others. The shows they all put on were fantastic, but not as many shows as at II. The Mod Squad show was made great by the guys actually doing it! The poolside games were super and kept us going. Teddy Bear was also a big hit with our group. The hedo bucks were more free flowing. We tried to keep up with it but lost track, Our gang had several hedo millionaires. Wolf at 2.1 million, Earl at 1.6 Million And I forgot who all else went over a million but I think most of the group did!

Fun:
We had so much fun I screamed and hollered the 1st day, so I spent the next 2 days getting my voice back. Only to loose it again. No Problem I wound up with a whistle! (Everyone hated me all week) . The people at Hedo II are kidding them selves if they think they have it overall than at III. If you want to stay to yourself or with the people you came with Got to Hedo II. If you want to be included in everything got to III. Our gang got bigger as the week went on and we made some new and great friends. I think that at Hedo III they are looking for people to have fun and let go as compared to Hedo II where they may have it set in stone how they want everything to run.

Security:
Near perfect. I recall at Hedo II getting in trouble everything I went into a nude area, with shorts on. But at Hedo III the security will wait just long enough to see if you are a gawker or going to stay around awhile and they would talk to you accordingly. All to say if you wanted to stop at the nude area to say hi to someone while fully clothed no problem! I guess I would say good use of common sense was well used! I also saw security personal in some wierd places, you could always see one from most anywhere you were day or night. You dont have to think they are near you can see them.

Staff Members we want to recognize:
Mr Levee the GM, Steve the PR Manager, Crazy Shawn, Michelle Davis, Van, Kirk the restaurant supervisor, Andre the bartender, and My personal favorite the cuban babe named Xaixara. (Tried to get her to run away with me to Jamaica but it didnt work like it does on US girls)

We could go on and on. But I would rate this resort 1 Star better than any resort I have ever been to. The Tops. The people there made it better. The staff Absoutely fantastic. Nothing can top this!
