Trip Report

HEDOWEEN OCTOBER 2004

Well what can I say, we were so excited I couldn't hardly wait. Then the day finally came to leave. I did not sleep the nite before and then was up for 2am. our flight left at 6am. Arrived at the airport and started to load our luggage on the bus, when Andy realized he had left his backpack at home. Camera charger, pipe tobacco, medication, books, CD's etc. were in it, well no time to go get them now.

All went well on the trip down. In the Atlanta airport we sent an e-mail to the group to see who was coming on Tuesday or Wed. that would not mind bringing a small package for us. Josh came back saying he would arrive on friday, and then Serjio stated he would arrive on Wed. Our daughter Fed-Ex'd the package to Serjio in New York, who was so king to bring it with him. I won't say what the cost was. But next trip whatever gets left behind, will stay left behind!! We finally arrived at MoBay, waited 45 min. for the bus to leave for Hedo III. Then,we were on our way. All newbies were asked to tip the driver a little extra so we would not have to stop for a $4 dollar, hot, red stripe beer. They all agreed. One stop at another resort and then we were in paradise.

Our welcuming committee consisted of Walt, Cheryl, Linda, Kevin and along came Hussy after a few minutes. No problems with our room, we were all checked in, in about 10min. and on our way. Thru our bags in the room, shed our clothing(what few we still had on) and out to the pool we went.

It was so great to see all of our old friends, and of course meet the new ones we would make. As usual our first day was spent getting quit loaded. So it turned into an early nite.

Up bright and early Monday morning. Down to breakfast with the gang, who by the time we arrived had been acused of stealing all the liquor and poker chips. What can I say, it was going to be a busy week, and we were loving it already. And to find out that there was to be a wedding, made in all the better.

Congradulations again Darlene and Randy. Darlene was a beautiful bride, the wedding was fantastic. I took pictures of Darlene and Randy getting dressed before the wedding. You talk about nervous. Randy's hand were sweating, and I thought Darlene was going to hyperventilate before she got down the isle. I am so happy you asked me to be a part of it. We wish you two the best of all that is to come.

Hat nite was a great success. It is amazing all the crazy hats you can find, when you get to looking for them. We had a wonderful time at all the theme nites. Everyone looked fantasti( Robyn was so cute in her baby girl outfit for PJ nite) and I know Chip was just cooking in his. 70's and pimp and ho nite was hilarious. If you missed the guy that dressed up like the women you really missed a great show. Bill, my man, you make a great pimp with Nina as yo ho, and Admiral Andy sure knows how to make a mess on a toga. Looking good Admiral.

Of course the best to come was hedoween. The costumes were awesome. Everyone in the group looked great, as well as all the other guest. But what can I say, The Wild Bunch was the best. You can't help but get emotional when your group walks off the stage with 8 of the 12 major prizes. There was alot of competition on that stage too. Way to go guys. Of course we were very happy for ourselves considering we won 2nd place for our costume(Hand & Penis that pumps). I have to congradulate John and Susan again for coming in 1st place with their costume from Eyes Wide Shut. John the costume was great.

If you missed seeing the rooms that were decorated for Hedoween, you missed seeing some awesome rooms. I took those of us that decorated a full day to do this and clean up was a bitch, not to say packing 6 bags of luggage to bring it all in wasn't fun!! Don and Lori your lighted skeletons in the bed were so cute. Admiral Andy, my sites are on you. I have a whole year to come up with some better ideas, though I did not mind getting 2nd place.

All in all our trip was fantastic. The food was great, the EC's did a fantastic job on all their shows. Michelle we love ya ,see ya real soon. The weather was just beautiful ,you could not have asked for a better week. All the water balloon fights, parties, volleyball and just sitting in the pool with friends was great.

I want to say thank you to Walt & Cheryl, again u 2 made our vacation very special. Robyn and Linda next trip is our time. Brandi and Todd you guys are the best. Kevin my darling I love ya,thanks for letting us use your camera charger. Bill and Nina what can I say, we allow Bill to come because he brings Nina. LOL!! Love you guys, hope to spend more time with you next trip. Rod & Holly it was a pleasure to meet you, hope to see ya on the next trip. Marci I love the tee's you buy Chuck. We are going to have to get together and sew up a costume for 4. To all those I missed and those who did not get to make the trip hope to see ya again real soon .
