Trip Report

This report is not so much a trip report as it is a THANK YOU!!! When we decided to go to Jamaica in May to celebrate my 40th birthday, it was a decision that soon became the best one we could have made! Prior to leaving, we registered our stay at Hedo III on DennyP's web site. Wild Walt sent an email telling us the Wild Bunch group was going to be there during the same time and to look at their web site to see what they were all about. Unfortunately, after several attempts, we could not get on the site, so we did not know what to expect. Bob and I had talked about it, and decided that we would just sit back and relax this trip and not get too involved with anybody.

This soon changed the moment we arrived at the Montego Bay airport, we noticed that this person named Wild Walt soon had things "under control" and ruled the bus. When we arrived at the hotel, Robyn was there in style to greet Wild Walt and Cheryl. We had no idea what all the commotion was about, but we soon found out! Ingrid Nelson, a reservation supervisor at the resort, was there to meet us. She quickly introduced us to Kevin and Linda, and the rest is history !!! She told us that Kevin Levee had said to put us in block 6, bottom floor. From that moment when we stepped foot in the room, our "relaxing" vacation was about to begin!!! WOOOHOOO!!!

We have a few people that we want to say a special thank you for making this vacation one we will never forget...Robyn - you welcomed us with open arms. Thank you for including us in the activities especially dinner in the Munasan Restaurant. And also for the karaoke rendition of "Summer Nights" we did together. Between that, the trapeze and the pole dance I did on my birthday - Bob and I have decided that my day job is something I better not give up! A big thank you to Mary and Peter for being very understanding neighbors. Sorry again for throwing your "bouncy" dice against the wall and spilling your drinks all over the floor. When Bob and I got back to Houston - we stopped at Jack in the Box and when I sat down, I knocked my water over and it went into my lap. So you see Peter, it happens at home too!!! Kevin, thanks for showing the same interest in the local school. Please keep us updated on your progress on the school and we will keep you updated on our progress with the school supplies. And to Linda...all I can say is "Thanks for the ride!!!" Thank you to Brian and Nichole for doing the circus clinic with us. The bruises on my arms and knees are finally gone and the sore muscles are no longer sore. And yes, for those of you wondering, the bruises and sore body were from the trapeze. And shame on you if you thought differently!!!

Thanks to the Wild Bunch around the pool including Nathan & Rebecca, Brian & Beth, Mike & Theresa, and Chaz & Suz, the water balloon fights, the naked water slide runs and the sauna time are moments we will always remember. And last but certainly not least, a VERY BIG THANK YOU to Wild Walt and Cheryl. From the time we meet in the lobby, to the very late first night (silly string included!) to the PJ night with all the lights, you made us feel like we have been part of the Wild Bunch for a long time. Your group is a very open and welcoming bunch of people. You have made our first time at Hedo III a stay we will always remember with memories we will cherish forever!!!
