Trip Report
One would think you would get a little tired of visiting the same resort 6 times in four years, but we never tire of Hedo III. The staff is warm and welcoming, and each and every one will go out of their way to help with anything a guest needs.
The variety of food available is enough to please anyone's tastes, whether you're in the mood for Japanese, Italian, Caribbean, or just a salad. Coming down to breakfast at that big long Wild Bunch table is like having breakfast with an extended family, right down to lingering over several cups of coffee and talking...
We were fortunate in that the weather was spectacular. We got there a day before most of the Wild Bunch, and were punished with rain, but after that, we could not have asked for better weather. The resort is still as pretty and clean as the first week it opened, and there is some renovating going on (I believe it's to help drainage around the 500 and 600 buildings).
We were a little disappointed in the prizes given out this year, since they were downscaled from last year, but I guess that was an unpleasant surprise for all of us, including Walt, who thought the hotel would come through once again and give us incentive to return...
It was awesome to see our old friends, as well as meeting the new ones. Everyone was friendly and outgoing, and the single guys were all gentlemen and a pleasure to be around.
Congratulations to Karen and Steve - we wish you a long and happy marriage.
And last, but by no means least, we wish to thank Walt and Cheryl for all their hard work to make this group the cohesive, fun-loving, involved, caring group it has become. We are so pleased to be part of the fun each year. It makes our vacation what it should be! We love you guys!
