Trip Report May 19 thru May 26 2001 by Walter & Cheryl

We arrived to a nice welcome. Several staff members met us at the bus. Many of The Wild Bunch had already arrived. We were greeted by Michelle and several others. We were please to find her there rather than her being off to Florida as we were told she might be.We ate at the Scotch Bonnet restaurant. We were then given the usual lecture she always gives us about our limitations Our group was over 30 couple strong and we made many new friends that broke our hearts to leave them. But we too missed many that were with us last year. This years group became really close and many couples promised to meet after getting home which is great too.

Check in:
Always seems fast for us compared to what I have heard from others.

The Rooms:
Michelle then told us she had upgraded every member of our gang to the all natural building 600 so we could all be together. Totally Awesome! Building 600 is the place. We filled it and a few ended up in 700 which was really nice too for those. Some ended up in other buildings due to overflow.

The rooms are exquisite. REAL furniture, not the kind that requires fastening to the wall for support. Mirrors on the ceiling in the bedroom area and the bathroom both. The jacuzzi tub was great too. Our room was on the ground floor right in front of the Nude pool 617, just steps away. This year we had a suite with a wet bar and each day they stocked it with American beer sodas and bottled. Also we had champagne on ise several days and fresh cut flower arrangements along with a fruit tray. The layout of these rooms is perfect. On the ground level we had front and rear doors. Of which we never locked or even closed the poolside door as all our bunch were runing in a lot and many that had farther away rooms left their things in out room. The tile work in these rooms are fantastic. Some of the most beautiful you will ever see. Was great for finding out what was going on all the time. Even had a VCR Built in but we didnt bring anything to watch. Probably wouldnt have had time. But Im sure some might like to remember this. The CD players were a great touch too bring your own music!

The Hot tubs:
We spent most of our time in the Nude side Hot tub. It stayed packed day and night except when there was an activity going on.

Water Slide:
Open 11 am to 5pm then 11pm to 5 am. We hit is most days screaming and hollering NAKED! Drew lots of attention and many photographers. They told us not to do this but we did it anyway! This slide goes so darned fast you hardly know you went in. But you get a heck of a rush. This is a must do! Most of our group this year went day and night nude, We had so many wanting to go that someone was always getting a part of the group to go. Before the end of the week we had some of the prudes joining us.

Sex:
We all have sightings of sex about, and were even guilty ourselves. It would seem the sex police were there but ignored these events. We saw it on the nude beach pier almost daily. This year the waterfall was not working so it wasnt very popular. And on the fountain table in the nude pool was out of order too. In the loungers late at night. Of course the Nude Hottub always was frisky.

The Beach:
Both the nude beach and the prude beach are man made so dont expect much. But it is super nice and a ton of fun. Several activities happen there to liven things up.

Body shots:
Right on top of the bar at the nude pool almost everynight. A Body shot is where one gets doused with Liquor and gets it licked off by another. The bartenders were always helpful in getting this going. Fun to watch but more fun to participate in. We even saw this happen a few times at the main bar!

Pools:
The nude pool had activity most of the time. All have a swim up bar. But most action was at the nude pool. Even smaller in size more fun was there. The main pool have only a few people in it at a time. But even along side you could find topless sunbathers and if you watch long enough you would always see someone loose their clothes there too. At the quad pool, nothing much ever happend till we made a rush on it to liven things up, clapping hollering of 50 of us as we entered the quad seemed to stir things up quite a bit.

Music:
The speakers are All over the grounds everywhere. Except the nude pool. We thought they should be there too. So they brought in a sound system each afternoon, but for the most part when they did it was a bit too loud. Maybe even with a volume control at the nude bar if it needs to be turned off.

Bars:
Well at least you can always get a drink. When we were at H II we couldnt get a drink after about 11pm. They did have beer and daquari machines around. But at HIII the Nude Bar was open till 5 am. And even then if you wanted something after that all we had to do was go to the front desk and they sent it all out to us. This year Champagne was a bit more difficult to come by, but we didnt suffer a bit.

Disco:
We always had a good time, Music a bit loud for me though. But still fun. The solution would be to sit out on the disco balcony! than up stairs. The See thru water slide runs thru the disco but they go thru so fast you never see much more than a blur. Get on the disco balcony and you can see people going up to slide and and look over the rail and see them hit the water below.

Pj night:
We danced a few with us before moveing on about other fun. All of our Gang were recoginized in one way or another as we kinda stood out being so crazy. Several of our gang again won prizes. Cant remember who all got what. I won zaniest costume with my 3 foot Big Bamboo .

Masquarade night:
Our 30+ couple group decided on a group theme as sports attire, and all I can say is WOW. The gals looked fantastic. Actually the big winner was in our group and did not even have sports attire on but looked fantastic!

Toga Night:
We again raided all the prizes. But the best winner of all was our own TR and LI. Tr was dressed in slave attire while Li was dressed like a queen and looked the part too. (see Photos). TR walked around following LI fanning her with a big leaf. He really played the part perfectly. and Of course you knew when you saw them they would be big winners for the night.

Food & Restaurants:
All I can say about the restaurants is that they are world class. You MUST try them all at least once. The food is certainly out of this world, and cannot be compared with anyone anywhere else in the world. All the way down to a simple hamburger. And of course the Jerk Chicken.

Entertainment:
They have it getting better this year. With the newly added Prince and the old timers like Lacy Crazy Shawn and Teddy Bear they have a winning team. In Talking to Prince he has ideas that will make the entertainment explode. Last year we were pleased with the entertainment but this year proves to be on the upswing.

Fun:
Last year I lost my voice for most of the trip. This year I came close several times and pampered it most of the week so I managed to last. This year our group was the 1st ever to attack the fountain out front of the hotel NUDE. And we did it twice. We were not even chased off. We stormed the General managers office in the buff, but he gave us the slip , guess he saw us coming, but we left him our group's T Shirt anyway along with T Shirt for some of our other favorite staff members. 50 of us hit the slide nude, then went to the fountain, then went thru the executive offices, swam the PRUDE pool and then finished off with drinks at the quad all in the buff!

Security:
This year the security were a bit more inconsistent in their actions but nothing to complain about. I guess I would say there were overall more lax in general but yet still everywhere when you needed them.

Staff Members we want to recognize:
Mr Levee the GM, Steve the PR Manager, Crazy Shawn, Michelle Davis, Garfield. I forgot most names but the Hotel Manager, all the restaurant Managers and Bartenders. I really missed my sweetie XaiXara as she was away in Boston, so I have to go back soon and see her!

Gosh I dont know what to say. I could write a book. We loved it, we'll be back, and Im sure I missed mentioning someone. All in all our trip was awesome!
